Abstract Text: Faculty and administrators from a variety of social work programs in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, will make brief presentations on their experiences in attempting to teach from an evidence-based practice perspective. Both successful approaches and those which have proved to not be useful will be described, along with obstacles encountered along the way. The overall focus of the roundtable is to provide attendees with practical lessons learned on effective ways to promote an evidence-based practice perspective to social work education. This session will feature a great deal of interaction between and among the presenters and audience. |
