Our SIG focuses on community and neighborhood research and seeks to foster collaborations, support and partnerships among researchers focusing on these areas. Through our SIG we promote the Community and Neighborhood Research Cluster at SSWR and work together to collaborate on abstract submissions and conference ideas. Topics that we cover are similar to the Cluster, including collective action, civic engagement and participation, community based participatory research, community level intervention research, community capacity building, community/neighborhood development and sustainability, government/state impact on communities, and neighborhood indicators/effects and community health/well-being.
