The aim of this SIG is to create an opportunity for social work students, educators, and researchers interested in migration studies to share ideas, collaborate, and join forces. Our SIG currently has 70 members who meet annually at the SSWR conference. Our membership is free, and any interested individuals can join the group by entering her/his name, position, and area of interest into an online Google Spreadsheet. Our members receive bi-monthly emails sent by the FIU Initiative on Social Work and Forced Migration, listing latest research and resources on migration studies and featuring one SIG member per email.
