This SIG focuses on examining the current state of social justice in Social Work Education, Research and Practice. Over the last year the SIG has identified 3 group research projects to examine the gaps in the area of social justice in these 3 domains. Having identified gaps, we are now focused on improved ways to incorporate the action and process of social justice in these areas. We are additionally identifying ways in which best practices can be identified to do so and how our research and collective knowledge can be used by social work leadership, educators, practitioners, and students.
