This Special Session will introduce SSWR members to the work that is being done through a collaboration between the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR), and Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, to raise the profile of social work research among federal agencies and congressional representatives. This partnership provides the opportunity for the work of social work scholars to play a role in shaping policies, programs and investments for social and behavioral science research at the federal level.
