This association is to promote the excellence and contributions of social work education, practice, and research to the Korean American and all other racial/ethnic communities in the U.S. Its missions are to share and exchange information or opportunity for research and other academic activities, make social work contributions to all the racial/ethnic minority communities by means of academic resources and leadership, enhance academic exchange with other racial/ethnic associations of social work scholars or professionals, and promote individual, family, and community well-being, and social, economic, and environmental justice by engaging in local and international collaborations.
