The SIG on Social Work Research in South Asia will utilize the SSWR conference platform to advance social work research in South Asia and among South Asian population in the U.S. The SIG will convene a cadre of social work researchers to expand the scope of social work research, provide collaboration and networking opportunities to inform new and ongoing areas of research, provide expertise for manuscript preparation, grant applications, briefings, panels and special workshops crucial to advancing the social work research agenda in the South Asian region.
