Session: WITHDRAWN Associate Research Deans and Directors SIG (Society for Social Work and Research 26th Annual Conference - Social Work Science for Racial, Social, and Political Justice)

Several prior meetings resulted in planning for SSWR workshops that were held by members of this group (and the workshops were well-attended). Follow up email correspondence has helped to enhance the overall exchange of ideas. At each meeting, we update the listserve to ensure that follow up can occur. This meeting typically has at least 15-20 attendees. It is very well attended and there is usually lively discussion. We also typically gather informally/socially on an evening prior to the SIG meeting. Overall, this group functions as a critical socialization experience for social work Associate Deans for Research and has been helpful to the deans, schools and departments that they serve and interact with.
