Our 2021 Human-Animal Interaction Research SIG meeting helped to catalyze a special HAI-focused issue of Child and Adolescent Social Work ( https://link.springer.com/journal/10560/volumes-and-issues/37-6?utm_source=toc&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=toc_10560_37_6&utm_content=etoc_springer_20201128 ). Following the 2021 SIG meeting, members also collaborated together to submit a symposium containing five studies examining aspects of HAI related to human well-being; these studies are cross-cutting by vulnerable population, research methodology, and therapeutic role of animals. This symposium is currently under review for SSWR 2022.
