The SSWR Mixed Method Research Special Interest Group is committed to advancing the rigor of social work research using the integration of quantitative, qualitative and mixed methodologies to address “real world” complex social and health problems. SIG members will share the use of mixed methods in social work research to promote educational opportunities, networking and collaborations to inform SSWR research priorities and expand the scope of Mixed Methods research in social work. The Mixed Methods SIG will utilize the SSWR conference platform to encourage collaboration and networking among social work mixed methods researchers to inform new and ongoing areas of research, provide expertise for manuscript preparation, grant applications, briefings, panels and special workshops.
