The JIYYA SIG will host a meeting during the 2022 annual conference and host two events via virtual platforms to increase interest in research about youth/criminal justice and its impact on youth and young adults among social work researchers. Various social media platforms, i.e., Facebook, twitter, tik tok and a listserv will be used to generate interest in this area of research. The JIYYA SIG will convene a cadre of social work researchers, crucial to advancing the social work research agenda.
