SSWR is a primary partner with the National Research Agenda project (along with AASWSW, BACW, CWLA and others) Dr. Gina Samuels was appointed by the SSWR board to serve on the National Steering Commitee for the project. Gina meets with us monthly as part of this effort. We hope to present some joint webinars with SSWR on topics that are high priority to SSWR and child welfare as a follow-up to the SIG. This network would be supported by Casey Family Programs, Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the William T. Grant Foundation. In addition, SSWR SIG attendees can be added to a mailing list to receive the National Research Agenda team’s quarterly newsletter, containing project updates, research methods innovations, and news of RFPs being released in the high priority research gaps. SSWR SIG attendees will also receive resources related to engaging lived experience experts in research.
