The rest of the posters are presented in-person in the Poster/Exhibit Hall located in Marquis BR Salon 6, ML 2. The activities for this Special Interest Group will focus on discussing the importance of fostering safe academic spaces and the prevention of sexual harassment within academic environments. The following are the 3 primary aims of this SIG: 1. Support: A safe space for students, staff, and faculty to connect on experienced or bystander effects of sexual harassment in academic environments. 2. Brainstorm: Discuss current state of sexual harassment in academic settings based on existing policy and research, and potential empirically supported solutions. 3. Advocacy: Identify recommendations for higher education institutions and professional organizations to prevent sexual harassment.
