SSWR 2024 Poster Gallery: as a registered in-person and virtual attendee, you have access to the virtual Poster Gallery which includes only the posters that elected to present virtually. The rest of the posters are presented in-person in the Poster/Exhibit Hall located in Marquis BR Salon 6, ML 2. The access to the Poster Gallery will be available via the virtual conference platform the week of January 11. You will receive an email with instructions how to access the virtual conference platform.

Speakers/Presenters:
David Pate, PhD, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Kilolo Kijakazi, PhD, Social Security Administration
Dr. Kilolo serves as the Deputy Commissioner for the Office of Retirement and Disability Policy at the Social Security Administration. Dr. Kijakazi led SSA for 2 and a half years, serving as Acting Commissioner from July 2021 to December 2023. She has conducted research on and written extensively about retirement policy, systemic barriers, and economic security. Prior to joining SSA, Dr. Kijakazi was an Institute Fellow at the Urban Institute. Before joining Urban, Dr. Kijakazi was a Program Officer at the Ford Foundation, where she focused her grantmaking on building economic security and incorporating the expertise of people of color into all aspects of the work. Dr. Kijakazi holds a Master of Social Work from Howard University and a PhD in Public Policy from George Washington University.
