Given the continued emergence of sport social work, this Special Interest Group seeks to foster new connections and coordinate the efforts of vested partners for the advancement of this unique social work subspecialty. Conveners will include leaders from the Sport Social Work Research Lab, Alliance of Social Workers in Sports, and Sport Social Work Journal (collectively known as the Sport Social Work Collaborative). Those interested in this emerging area social work are welcome to engage in a facilitated discussion that aims to continue to advance practice, education, policy, and research related to sport social work.
