P-SWAG welcomes all students and allies who are interested in learning more about Pilipinx-related research. P-SWAG also wants to help build the bridge and create support for MSW students who are interested or curious about doctoral programs and academia. P-SWAG holds one monthly meeting online, the Scholars and Practitioners meetings, to discuss and build solutions around issues affecting our communities and to strategize ways in which future initiatives may positively impact the disparate outcomes we face. We plan to host bimonthly research meetings to promote research collaboration and support. This programming intentionally builds community and connection, and serves as a bridge program to support future academics in their higher education journey.
