This interactive workshop explores how art practices—such as illustration, photography, poetry, music, and performance—can be powerful tools in social work research, education, and practice. Art-based methods help surface untold narratives, amplify the voices of marginalized individuals, and enhance the dissemination of research findings. Participants will learn how these creative approaches can improve outcomes for minoritized communities, foster civic engagement, and support behavioral and mental health interventions.
