Session: Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (Society for Social Work and Research 27th Annual Conference - Social Work Science and Complex Problems: Battling Inequities + Building Solutions)

This SIG historically has attracted large numbers of minority SSWR members, usually a significant majority of SIG attendance (~60-90% most years). To my knowledge, this SIG at SSWR is the only in-person networking option available on social work research on innovation and entrepreneurship, as APM at CSWE is more teaching-focused and relatively few research-focused SSWR attendees also attend APM as often. While the Zooms and listservs are helpful, nothing can match in-person networking and conversation at SSWR.
