Given the evident gaps in platforms for social work researchers interested in mixed methods research, the SIG on Mixed Methods Research was organized to cultivate a vibrant community of mixed methodologists. Each year, many early career and doctoral students participate in the mixed methods research SIG, where they are interested in the continual education of mixed methods research approaches. The Mixed Methods Research SIG seeks to equip social work researchers with the knowledge and competencies to conduct rigorous and impactful mixed methods research by fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
